Two ways to order

Adult player, or a full club?

Adult player (18+)

Order your own custom-fit guard in your colours, through the appropriate clinical or dentist-prescribed pathway where a scan or fitting is required. One guard, your model kept on file for fast reorders.

Club / team

Kit out a full squad in one order night — adult players scanned on-site, guards labelled by player in your club colours. Player-pay or club invoice, with better per-guard pricing the more players you order.

Plan a team order

How it works

The pathway, step by step

Every guard starts with an accurate model of your teeth and ends with a labelled, finished appliance. Where an examination, scan, fitting or adjustment is needed, it runs through the appropriate clinical or dentist-prescribed route.

Enquiry

Tell us your sport, age and whether it's a first guard or a replacement.

Route & scan

We confirm the right pathway, then take or approve a scan/impression where required.

Fabrication

Each guard is pressure-laminated and finished by hand in the Galway lab.

Delivery

Labelled and handed over, with care guidance for a longer life.

Reorders

Replacements made from your stored model, whenever you need them.

Under-18 mouthguards are supplied on a lab-fabrication basis only. A registered dentist must examine the player, take or approve the scan or impression, prescribe the appliance, and manage clinical fitting or adjustment. Éanna Callanan is a Registered Clinical Dental Technician, not a dentist. Adult clinical pathways are provided in line with CDT scope.

The product

Pressure-laminated EVA, built to be worn

A guard only protects when it's actually in the mouth. Custom fit means it stays put, lets you breathe and talk, and is comfortable enough to keep in for a full session.

Material

Multiple layers of EVA, pressure-laminated for a dense, resilient guard. Heavier-spec builds available for combat sports.

Fit

Made from a model of your own teeth, so it grips precisely — no bulky boil-and-bite slipping or gag.

Finish

Your club colours, initials or name. Designs are limited only by what we can lawfully reproduce.

Caring for your guard

  • ◆ Rinse in cool water after every use — never hot, which can warp it
  • ◆ Brush gently and store dry in its ventilated case
  • ◆ Keep it out of direct sun and away from car dashboards
  • ◆ Bring it to check-ups so fit can be reviewed as teeth change
  • ◆ Reorder from your stored model when it wears or no longer fits

We never claim a guard is "concussion-proof" or makes any guaranteed-protection claim. A mouthguard reduces certain risks; check your sport's governing-body rules for current requirements.

Guide pricing

Premium custom — fair, club-friendly tiers

Honest guide prices. The more players in a club order, the better the per-guard price. Combat and heavier-spec guards carry a small surcharge. Final terms are confirmed on enquiry.

Questions

Custom mouthguard FAQ

How is this different from a boil-and-bite?

A boil-and-bite is a generic blank you soften and mould at home — the fit is approximate and it loosens. A custom guard is made from a precise model of your own teeth, pressure-laminated in the lab, so it grips, stays put and is comfortable enough to actually wear.

Do I need a dentist?

Adult guards are supplied through the appropriate clinical or dentist-prescribed pathway where an examination, scan, fitting or adjustment is required. Under-18 guards are supplied on a dentist-prescribed lab-fabrication basis only — a registered dentist must examine, prescribe and manage fitting.

Can I have my club colours and initials?

Yes — colours, initials and names are standard options. Club crests or county marks can only be reproduced with the appropriate permission, so we'll confirm what's allowed before fabrication.

How long does it take?

Turnaround depends on the route and current lab capacity. We'll give you a realistic timeframe at enquiry — and for club order nights we plan delivery around your season.

What about combat sports?

We make heavier-spec guards for adult boxing and MMA athletes through the appropriate clinical or lab pathway. These carry a small surcharge over the standard guard.

Can I reorder a replacement?

Yes. We keep your model on file, so a replacement can be made without starting from scratch — subject to confirming the stored model is still suitable.
